Welcome to St. Georges Primary School
We are extremely proud to be the leader's of St George’s Church of England Primary School where we grow and nurture enthusiastic and courageous learners. We have our own distinctive ‘feel’, which makes us unique. This is best summed up by our core values of Sustainability, Transformation, Generosity, Perseverance and Stewardship (STGPS) as chosen by our school community.
St George’s staff are a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to our children’s wellbeing and their personal, social, emotional and academic development. Supported by governors, staff work hard to provide a rich, stimulating and inclusive curriculum, which engages and prepares our children for future education and later life. We are fortunate to be well placed in Central London and we make sure that educational visits to museums, art galleries and places of cultural and historical interest are an integral part of learning at St George’s. This gives our children invaluable and memorable first-hand experiences. Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in July 2023 when we were judged to be 'outstanding' in personal development and ‘good’ in our overall effectiveness of provision. We continue to be a self-evaluative school, setting high aspirations and ambitions.
Happy, safe and respected children thrive in life! We aim to ensure your child flourishes at St George’s, therefore we promote a friendly, safe and caring environment, with positive relationships which inspire respect for each other. The partnership between home and school is a vital part of your child’s success and at St George’s we uphold that. We encourage parents to take an active role in their child’s learning and greatly value their contribution to school life.
