Ducklings!

Reception recently enjoyed having Duckling eggs arrive in our classroom! We had them for 2 weeks and were able to watch them hatch in their incubator and when they were strong enough, we moved them to their brooding cage. 

We learnt about the life cycle of Ducklings, what life cycles mean, we sang songs and watched the Ducklings swim in the paddling pool. Most importantly- we learnt what the Ducklings needed to survive and helped to top up their food and water daily.
