We are entering Autumn 1 term of Year 6 and have lots of new, exciting learning opportunities! 

Across the tabs at the top of this page, you will find information about what we are learning in Maths, English, Reading, RE, Science, PSHE, Art and D&T, Music and Humanities. 

 

Things to remember:

Tuesday: PE day. Remember your swimming kit.

Thursday: Bring in your homework !

Friday: Your reading record will be checked. Make sure it has been signed by an adult at home.

 

Your children's education and wellbeing are our foremost priority; please do not hesitate to get in contact if you have any questions. You can organise a meeting through the office, drop me an email or talk to us at the class door for small matters.

Reception 2025 School Tours


Thank you for showing an interest in St. George's CE Primary School. If you would like to join one of our onsite visits for a school tour, please fill in the form below. 

If possible, please add any questions you might have in advance so we can cover them on the day. If you can't make a school tour, please contact the school office at office@stgps.org.uk or 02077034772 to arrange a suitable time.We can't wait to welcome you to this hidden gem of a school. 

 

Additionally - we are pleased to announce that we are extending our wraparound childcare provision on site. From January 2025, we will have an after school provider on site until 6pm - Monday to Friday. Reception children for the intake in September 2025 will automatically receive (if you would like) 1 free session in after school club until 5pm on a first come, first served basis for the Reception year.
